Disclaimer: I multiship like a mofo. I like Zutara. But Kataang is my OTP, and I don’t take kindly to angry, obviously illogical arguments against it.
SO.One of the biggest arguments I hear from rabid Zutarians is that Katara is motherly towards Aang. Whenever I hear this argument, I have exactly one screenshot I want to show them:
I could just let the picture do all the talking for me, but I’m just going to emphasize:
- This is a cartoon, which means an animator DREW that look on her face. Actors can make weird faces on accident that people might not catch. Not so in animation, especially when the look stays on one’s face as long as this one did.
- This look says many things. Among them (courtesy of KFers on Skype):
“I wanna smex you up!” - Summer
“I wantz me a piece of DAT.” - Gem
“I will fuck you until you cannot move.” - Snowy
“You’ve been a bad boy go to my room.” - Opaul
“I’mma tear your fucking clothes off once everyone gets the hell out of here.” -Water
- SO YEAH. None of those thoughts are motherly. If you disagree, I am honestly curious about your home life. :| (And okay so Katara is 14 and probably isn’t thinking those exact words BUT YOU GET THE IDEA.)
